Coin description
The reverse depicts a kneeling archer goddess with flowing auburn hair, elaborate golden armor and a horned crown with red accents. She draws an ornate bow across the foreground, with a blazing arrow pointing towards the right. A quiver rises behind her shoulder, while flowing red drapery surrounds her figure. The background glows with orange light, sparks and stars, with a luminous Sagittarius symbol appearing above her to the right. The inscription “SAGITTARIUS” follows the lower left curve of the colored artwork in white lettering. A fine beaded border separates the central scene from a silver outer ring decorated with zodiac figures in relief.
The obverse side of the coin features the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Ghana at its center.
