Something extraordinary is brewing in the PopCoins® Tarot Cards collection. The Magician I brings mystery and imagination to life through vivid anime artwork, with a hooded figure, a raised wand and a gleaming cauldron setting the scene for a magical reveal. Crafted from 1 oz of .999 pure silver, the distinctive 36 × 53 mm rectangular format transforms a familiar tarot card into a collectible with character. An intricate photo minted card back completes the tarot appearance, making both sides worth exploring. Issued by Cameroon with a face value of 1000 Francs CFA, this release combines the appeal of illustrated cards with the lasting attraction of precious silver.
The CHASE BLIND BOX adds a secret of its own: your coin’s finish remains hidden until opening. The Magician I has a total mintage of just 156 pieces across three tiers: 135 Regular Silver coins in Tier 1, just 15 Holo Silver coins in Tier 2, and only 6 Gilded Holo coins in Tier 3. Each sealed pack contains one coin. Will your reveal uncover the regular silver edition, shimmering holographic colour or the exceptionally scarce gilded holo version?

Coin description
The reverse depicts a hooded magician raising a wand above a large golden cauldron. Ornate gold and white robes, red curtains and a radiant circular halo create a theatrical setting. A green crystal rests in his other hand, while colourful potion bottles, burning candles and a chalice surround the cauldron. An ornamental border frames the scene, with “I ~ THE MAGICIAN” displayed on a golden ribbon below. The Holo Silver edition adds rainbow effects, while the Gilded Holo edition combines holographic colour with gilded details.
The obverse recreates the elaborate back of a tarot card through intricate photo minting. Celestial motifs, stars, curling foliage and decorative scrollwork surround a central medallion bearing the Coat of Arms of Cameroon. The inscriptions “REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN,” “2026” and “1000 FRANCS CFA” identify the issuing country, year and denomination. A small panel below reads “1 oz .999 pure silver.” The ornamental background appears in silver or shimmering holographic colour according to the edition, with gilded details completing the rarest tier.

Background information
Tarot originated in fifteenth century Italy as a card game and became associated with divination and symbolic interpretation in later centuries. A traditional deck contains 78 cards, divided into 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana. Its symbolic figures and scenes explore themes of human experience, from love and ambition to change and uncertainty. Over time, different artistic and spiritual traditions have added new interpretations to this rich visual language.
The Magician, numbered I in the Major Arcana, is associated with skill, concentration and willpower. In the Rider Waite Smith tradition, the four tarot suits represented on his table symbolise the resources available to turn ideas into reality. His gesture towards heaven and earth connects inspiration with action. The card is commonly interpreted as an invitation to recognise personal abilities and apply them with clear intention.
