Coin description
In the middle of the reverse is a high resolution printed “Lord Ram” image. More specific the the central image of the deity at the Ram Mandir located at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya. Around the image is written in Hindu repeatedly: Jai Shri Ram.
The obverse side of the coin depicts the coat of arms for Cameroon. The coat of arms has the inscriptions: “REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN” (country of issue), “2025” (the year of issue) and “1000 FRANCS CFA” (the face value).
The coin is numbered on the edge 001/108 to 108/108.

Lord Ram, the seventh incarnation of Vishnu, is one of the central figures in Hinduism and the hero of the ancient Indian epic, the Ramayana, composed by Valmiki. Born as the prince of Ayodhya, Ram is revered as the ideal king, son, and husband, embodying virtues of righteousness, courage, and compassion. His life represents the triumph of dharma (moral order) over adharma (evil).
His exile, the abduction of his wife Sita by the demon king Ravana, and the subsequent battle to rescue her form the moral and spiritual core of the Ramayana. Worship of Lord Ram became widespread across India, influencing art, literature, and temple architecture. His legacy continues to symbolize justice, devotion, and the eternal victory of good over evil.
